In addition to preventive maintenance, your device will be professionally cleaned, checked, adjusted and calibrated during servicing. On request, we can also carry out a VDE test in accordance with DGUV.

Repairs
Easy to do!
Even the most reliable device can be defective at some point. We carry out repairs quickly and professionally. This is done as a service at your premises or at our service center in Hamburg.
For repair orders with return shipment, devices must have been thoroughly cleaned and, if necessary, decontaminated and disinfected to protect our employees.
We provide a PDF form for returning your device. We provide a PDF form for the return of your device. The form contains a description of the defect or the device problem and important safety information.
Please note: We can only repair devices upon receipt of the fully completed return form. For security reasons, devices without a form will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at the sender’s expense.

Maintenance scope of services
- Cleaning all important components that are responsible for the proper functioning of the device
- Check all general settings
- Checking the temperature settings with certified measurement and testing equipment
- Calibration of the device with recognized and traceable standards, adjustment if necessary
- Generation of detailed maintenance and calibration protocols in accordance to the latest standards
- Firmware updates, if these are necessary for the functionality of the devices
- Function test and adjustment of the touchscreen if necessary
- Function test (if available) of the peristaltic pump, drying unit, autosampler & the flow throught measurement cell
- Check of the printer, USB and Ethernet connection
- Leak test of all hoses and replacement if necessary
- If necessary, replacement with original spare parts of the highest quality
Maintenance contracts
With a maintenance contract, you ensure regular, preventive checks of your measuring devices. This guarantees measurement accuracy and trouble-free operation. Maintenance contracts also offer many other benefits.
Our services as a survey:
- Annual inspection of your devices, incl. performing all functional and safety checks, cleaning of key components, calibration with certified traceable calibration standards and, if necessary, adjustment and detailed documentation
- Creation of a detailed calibration protocol or maintenance protocol in accordance with the relevant standards
- Installation of the latest firmware updates, if these are necessary or desired for the functionality of the devices.
- Response time within 24 hours and telephone support during business hours
- Provision of rental equipment to bridge maintenance, calibration, adjustment and repair times
- Extended warranty from 12 to 36 months, when a maintenance contract is signed in the first year after purchase

A.KRÜSS rental equipment is always state of the art. They meet the requirements for the qualification of devices and systems in accordance with the DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ process guidelines. With our rental equipment you are assured to work in compliance with GMP guidelines and various international norms and standards.
Rental device for maintenance and repair failures
Does your device need to be repaired or recalibrated? But you can’t do without your device during this service period and need a bridging device? Then a high-quality device for rent is a good solution to avoid cost-intensive downtime.
Rental device as a test device
You want to be 100% sure that your new A.KRÜSS device actually meets the requirements for the planned Application? In that case, we recommend a rental device. You can use the device in a process-oriented manner and ensure that it works as required. On the plus side, there’s no financial commitment over time and no unnecessary capital tie-up. Another plus: in the event of a finalcpurchase, up to 100% of the rental fee is offset towards to the final price.
