Measuring Quality

Why have we been passionately producing measuring devices with high accurarcy for generations? Quite simply because our measurement instruments guarantee safety in many areas of life. For you and for all of us.

  • An infusion can be life-saving, our flame photometers analyze the salt content of infusion solutions and thus serve as an indirect quality check.
  • Antibiotics are produced with the use of amino acids. Our polarimeters analyze substance-specific properties of these protein building blocks. Our measuring devices ensure safety in drug testing and the cure of bacterial diseases.

These are just two examples that describe our precision standards. Device manufacturing is subject to high standards and only quality components and the highest quality parts are used in production.

Our focus is always on the essentials, namely what makes efficient measurement possible in practice. We focus on user-friendliness for the user and complex technological processing in the background. We want to take measuring in different areas to a new level. Quality managers from a wide range of industries appreciate this.

Innovation

Of course, innovation is an important driving force in our company. We strive to create completely new and market-driven technical solutions. Your impulses are in demand and there is no lack of courage to go different ways.

We put our heart and soul into our work. We go the “extra mile” every day to optimize our measuring devices and are never satisfied with the first best solution. We like it when you think entrepreneurially, contribute new ideas and implement them.

Our milestone in 2024: We will be launching measuring devices that present a completely newly developed Peltier and stabilization technology.

Team

Our maxim: “Openness, honesty, transparency and trust – that’s how we work – and of course with a lot of fun!”

We are all pulling in the same direction and are interested in moving forward together. We maintain a friendly atmosphere and short decision-making processes. You and your contributions will be seen and heard.

Work-life balance is important to us. Working flexibly, working from home, combining work and family life or perhaps working part-time? We have many solutions and of course we appreciate it if you want to get involved and help shape them.

Diversity

We focus on diversity and an international team, believing that people from different backgrounds, with individual lifestyles, different perspectives and talents complement each other best.

We do not consider diversity to be a fad, it is something we live by. Your gender, origin and personal background define you, but are never in the foreground.

We firmly believe that diversity creates innovation and is an important success factor in the company. That is why we also maintain our network. Together with our certified partners, we offer individual advice and technical support in over 130 countries around the world.

Achievements

Helped a customer, completed a difficult project, reached a milestone, solved a problem, implemented a new task, achieved a sales target…

Success has many faces for us. We know that success is not only important for the company, it is also important for you personally. Successes make us proud, motivate us and help us to become fit for future challenges.

Our success in 2024: This year, after a long development period, we will present the next generation of the user interface. The GUI8 offers many innovations and a completely new user experience.

Appreciation

Our miracle cure is called appreciation. Everyone knows that when they feel seen, they are even more motivated and have more fun at work.

But we don’t just praise your work performance, we are interested in you as a person with your personality. We respect every colleague and treat each other with attention and friendliness.

Another success factor is our error culture: we see mistakes as a learning process. This is the only way a team can grow and develop.

Learning

The knowledge and skills of all our colleagues are the basis of our success. Training has been one of the cornerstones of the company since its founding years.

We value the fresh ideas that young talent brings to the company. We teach junior staff exactly the skills we need to ensure the quality of our products.

Even as a trainee, you can take on responsibility and help shape the company with new ideas.

Develop further

We believe it is human nature to want to grow in a role. We employ many well-trained experts and we make sure that it stays that way.

With us you have the opportunity to develop your skills and you can discover and use new talents and interests. You continue your education, learn new skills and broaden your horizons – we like that.

We think thinking outside the box provides fresh ideas and makes you more flexible to respond to challenges.

Feel-good office

We spend around a third of our day in the office. We want you to enjoy coming to work. For many colleagues, our large, light-filled offices are like a 2. at home. (But your “sleeping bag” should stay in your 1st home 😉 )

Your workplace should be a place where you can concentrate and work productively. That’s why a modern workplace with the latest IT equipment is a matter of course. Working with two monitors and high-quality office furniture are a matter of course.

Working environment

The commute to the office is also pleasant, we have transport connections that are the envy of many. The Alsterdorf subway is “around the corner”. Two fully equipped staff kitchens are available for a relaxed lunch break and there are various restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

Many of us use the nearby city park or the Alsterweg for a run during our lunch break. Our “Sportis” have their own staff shower to freshen up. So if you’re sporty, you’ll have plenty of colleagues to do sports with.

Events

We like to take the opportunity to share something beautiful together. We like feel-good events to strengthen togetherness. These include playing soccer, mini golf or badminton.

Every Friday during the lunch break, our “Krüss kickers” meet for a tournament. Be part of it!

We cooked together at Christmas and everyone prepared a favorite dish. There was Turkish, Arabic, Ukrainian, German, Latvian and Pakistani food.

That was delicious…

If you would like to find out more about the company’s eventful history, you can read our company chronicle. There are also many historical measuring devices to discover here.

This is of course also important!
